Afterglow

My latest painting is an 8 x 10 inch acrylic on stretched canvas.

I used Liquitex acrylic paints for this one. Still my favorite brand for acrylic paints!

Two in Two

Here are a couple of miniature oil paintings from last week. Two paintings in two days!

The first one was painted using my Altoids tin pochade box. I had a doctor’s appointment, and had to have blood drawn a couple of hours before my appointment. I decided not to sit in the waiting room for 2 hours, so I went to a local park and painted.

The second one was painted the next day while I was out getting grapes for grape jelly from a local grower near St. James, Missouri. The old depot was fixed up a few years ago and sits along the BNSF tracks that run through the town. It was a pleasant day!

Miniature Painting – Beautiful Evening

Beautiful Evening (2.5 x 3.5 inches; acrylics)
My latest painting was completed with Liquitex Acrylic Paints. I find the Liquitex brand to be one of the best acrylic paints on the market. I am enjoying the acrylic experience! This one is a personal favorite.

Miniature Painting – Mountain Stream

I painted this miniature on July 11, 2017. This miniature was completed with Liquitex acrylic paints on black canvas panel. I’m very pleased with how it turned out!

Here’s a quick video of the painting process for this acrylic painting…
